Established
in 1963, the GTMA world class toolroom has steadily grown to become
a core part of the MH GROUP service.
We currently produce in excess of 100 tools per year ranging from single
impression to large multi impression fast cycling moulds of up to 3
tonnes in weight. Though the majority of our moulds are single shot,
we also manufacture multi-shot, over mould and Diecast tooling.
Our toolmaking capability benefits from continued investment year on
year in the latest plant and technology, ensuring that we remain at
the cutting edge of injection mould tool manufacture.
The manufacturing systems are configured to ensure that we have a high
level of CAD/CAM integration. All our mould designs are fully defined
in a 3D solid modelling environment, with full CAM capability linked
to a 7 station design office working direct from 3D control data.
Our design and manufacturing systems are structured to ensure a flexible
manufacturing approach. We are used to working in an environment where
concurrent engineering practices are commonplace. Therefore, we have
tailored our systems and cultivated our working philosophy to accommodate
such methods of working.
